Amelia Leavesley

Arianna Lim

Amelia (she/her) is a PhD researcher at the Faculty of Architecture, Building at Planning (University of Melbourne) who specializes in urban climate policy and governance, sustainability transitions and local implementation of global sustainability frameworks, such as the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement. Alongside her scholarly work, Amelia brings over 5 years’ experience in consulting, working with multiple levels of government to help deliver major projects in water, planning and transport. Amelia is also a tutor, an artist and an avid community gardener who can often be found riding around her home city, Naarm (Melbourne).
