Dean Stewart is a proud Victorian Wemba Wemba Wergaia man who has worked in ecological and cultural management roles for over 20 years. Dean created and operated the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne Aboriginal Heritage Walk in the 1990s for almost a decade before moving on to become the Education Management for the Koori Heritage Trust. He is now director of his own Aboriginal owned & operated cultural and ecological business Aboriginal Tours And Education Melbourne. Each year running almost 15,000 Melbournians through the ‘Once As It Was’ of Melbourne’s rich Historical, Cultural and Ecological treasures.
