Ella is a Registered Landscape Architect at the City of Melbourne working across City Design and the Greenline. Her experience affords her a unique perspective with over eight years working in the public sector, private sector, as a university tutor and volunteering for AILA.

A strong passion for equity drives Ella and her work. She believes that listening to the community and understanding their experiences is key to developing outcomes that serve everyone, now and into the future.

In 2021 Ella was awarded the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) Presidents award. The award recognised her commitment to advocacy work, to the empowerment of women and to the progression of young professionals within landscape architecture.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation.
