Francesco Dal Co

Since 2016 Francesco Dal Co is Professor Emeritus of the History of Architecture at IUAV University Venice; from 1982 to 1991 Professor of the History of Architecture, Yale University; and from 1996-2006 Professor of the History of Architecture at the Accademia di Architettura dell’Università della Svizzera Italiana Mendrisio, Switzerland.

Dal Co has also held a visiting senior fellowship at the Center for Advanced Studies, National Gallery of Art, Washington DC from 1981-1982; and from 1988-1991 was the Director of the Architecture section of the Venice Biennale. He is head of architecture publications at Electa Publishing House in Milan and since 1996 the Director of Casabella magazine. He is the author of numerous books and articles including the recent Souto Moura: Memory, Projects, Work published by Yale University Press.
