An influential figure in Australian dance Helen has worked across many facets of the arts profession including significant periods as choreographer, artistic director, independent producer, program curator, project manager, educator, mentor, board member and artistic advisor. She is in essence a choreographer, creative collaborator and performer who has had dance as a constant since childhood. Helen’s imaginative choreographic work regularly presents in national and international festivals and she continues to craft events with a passion for the power and connection that dance-based experiences can offer participants.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
