Nancy Pierorazio

Nancy has been working at the City of Melbourne as a social planner and policy officer since 2002. Her current role as Senior Policy Officer, Diversity and Equality includes policy planning and implementation for diversity, equality and inclusion.

Nancy has been able to combine her passion and skills in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), community safety, prevention of violence against women and gender equality to create gender and safety audit tools for a range of urban environments.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc.
