Neha is the Director at Democracy in Colour which is organising people of colour to advocate on the issues that affect them most, from migration with dignity, for great public services and for an end to hate speech. Neha has worked on the Yes campaign for Marriage Equality, and she was a Digital Campaigner in the Australian union movement. Neha is also passionate about climate justice and is the Chair at 350.org.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation.
