Tim Hunt

Trained in industrial design, Tim Hunt leads Arup’s lighting team in Melbourne. Tim likes to innovate and challenge the norm, finding new ways of approaching problems, through creativity, research, testing and embracing technologies. Using design thinking, Tim has a desire to put people and their experiences of light at the centre of every strategic decision, continuously improving human interaction with light. Tim has a solid understanding of holistic design and his diverse, international portfolio enabled the development of strong relationships with his clients, allowing him to work with them to solve challenges and help create inspiring spaces after dark.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation.
