PAUSE by Helen Herbertson Photo by Mathew Lynn

PAUSE is a chance to do just that – to take time, to breathe, to notice where we are, to listen to our surroundings and take in the view. It is a chance to leave behind the tension of competing focus, intense workloads and busy daily activity.

PAUSE is a simple structure, open to all, initiated in the spirit of staying Healthy Happy Productive. It has evolved with the idea of wanting to find simple ways to cultivate and sustain HHP every day.

As we gather at MPavilion Helen Herbertson and team will guide you through a simple set of instructions that will take us into the beautiful surrounds of the parklands and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Once you have learned the sequence it can be repeated and integrated into your daily activity.

Comfortable clothing is suggested.

Presented in association with Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria.

*This event will finish at the Royal Botanic Gardens.

In collaboration with

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
